This week, it is our pleasure to spotlight Hasina Kharbhih, founder of Impulse NGO.
Hasina started her changemaking journey 30 years ago, when she started out with small effort to help local Meghalaya artisans sell homemade products. This has today evolved into Impulse Empower – an artisan brand and program for sustainable livelihood for over 3,000 women from 6 different tribes spread out across northeast India.
Hasina has recently attended the Arab World Social Innovation Forum in Cairo, organised by Ashoka Arab World, where she spoke on the panel around the Women Initiative for Social Entrepreneurship (WISE).
