Type of project: This is a special grants call in response to the COVID–19 pandemic. The programme supports innovative project ideas and approaches that seek to strengthen the ability of civic voices to engage with governments to improve governance and development outcomes. 
Location: Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, Botswana, Brunei Darussalam, Cameroon, Canada, Cyprus, Dominica, Fiji, Ghana, Grenada, Guyana, India, Jamaica, Kenya, Kingdom of eSwatini, Kiribati, Lesotho, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, Saint Lucia, Samoa, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Sri Lanka, St Kitts and Nevis, St Vincent & the Grenadines, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, The Bahamas, The Gambia, Uganda, United Kingdom, United Republic of Tanzania, Vanuatu and Zambia. 
Eligibility: The applicant and, when applicable, partner(s) should be registered not-for-profit civil society organisations (CSOs); the applicant must also be registered in an eligible Commonwealth Member State. The average of the applicant’s total income over the last two years should be less than £3m.
Grant size:  £10,000 – £30,000
Deadline: 18 September
